IROAD OBDII Power Cable

The OBD (on-board diagnostics) cable for dash cams offers a more convenient and streamlined approach to parking-mode recording compared to the traditional fusebox hardwiring method. Since the mid-to-late 1990s, all vehicles have been equipped with OBD ports, making OBD cables universally compatible with modern vehicles. The IROAD OBD cable is designed to work seamlessly with any vehicle featuring an OBD port, as well as all IROAD dash cam models.
Rather than dealing with the complexities of hardwiring kits and the potential challenges of locating the fusebox, the OBD cable simplifies the installation process. It connects directly to the OBD port, which is typically situated near the steering wheel column on the driver's side. By plugging in the IROAD OBD cable, the dash cam receives power not only when the vehicle is in operation but also when it is turned off, ensuring continuous functionality during parking-mode recording.
